After retiring from a research lab at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, Missouri after 29 years, the move to Wisconsin in 2000 gave Nancy a chance to delve into her longtime hobbies of fly fishing and gardening. She became a Master Gardener in 2001 and continues in good standing through continued education and donation of many hours as a volunteer in her community. When not tending the inn or walking the family dogs, she spends hours learning about plants, hauling interesting rocks, creating new flower beds and caring for the established beds of annual and perennial flowers. Her favorites are the native plants that require little care. If you have the time and interest, she will gladly tell you about her plants, and answer your questions. Her fly casting skills continue to improve as she deals with tall weeds, low hung tree branches and curious cattle along the stream banks. The beauty of this area of Wisconsin continues to amaze her, and the spring fed creeks with the wily brown trout and the colorful brookies delight her. Scott KesslerFFF Certified Casting Instructor
